Set a price
Your Song Real Estate agent will research similar homes in the area, analyze your home specifically, and give you a market analysis to help you get an idea of how much your home will go for. In the end it is your decision, but it can be very helpful to have the professional opinion of your home’s ideal sales price from an EXPERT.
Set a timeline
Talk to your realtor about what deadlines you should set and get a reasonable idea of the schedule you will be working with. Timing can be one of the most important factors when it comes to selling your home for top dollar. Also, never neglect the deadlines you set. Stick to them!
Begin cleaning and fixing up your home
Appearances are very important, and simply sprucing up the home can highly increase your home value. You should also get a home inspection as well as an appraisal to get an idea of about how much your home is worth and what kinds of repairs you may need to make on it. Finalize the deal
When we find the right buyer for your property, Song Real Estate will help you through the process of signing a sale agreement, arranging a home inspection (if you haven’t gotten one already), and preparing the home for closing. Closing-or settlement- is the final meeting where the agent signs over the buyer’s title and the buyer makes a down payment. Most homes close about 45 days after the sale agreement is signed. This whole process is tedious, and it can be pretty stressful, but it will all be worth it when you FINALLY see that ‘sold’ sign planted in the front yard!
