Veneta, OR- March 11, 2014
Song Real Estate, a small business owned and managed by Arica Song, has been quickly growing into its small office next door to the Veneta Fire Station. The office reached completion back in December 2013 when Arica was personally doing all of the real estate work as a solo act.
Jim Mitchell, the company’s first buyers’ agent, got his real estate license back in February. Mitchell had previously spent the last two months using his experience as an electrician and his background in construction to renovate the new office from the ground up and turn it into the professional, tidy-looking business it is today.
Since the company got off the ground, it’s picked up speed in ways no one could foresee a few months ago. Song and Mitchell have gotten more business than they could handle alone, and in the past week they have acquired the help of two brand new Buyer’s Agents as well as a new Office Manager.
The new realtors, Emily Williamson and Chella Gehrett are being trained as buyers’ agents and are both enthusiastic about their future at Song Real Estate. Williamson expressed her excitment in begining her carreer as a Realtor by saying, “I’m thrilled to be joining such a creative and energetic team. I’m looking forward to serving my community!” Song and Mitchell will already be busy training the new Realtors, and they are also begining to train a new full time Office Manager; Kathy Ricker to help with the technical part of their real estate business. Ricker said, “It’s really fun to be working with such talented people.”
The Song Real Estate Team is enthusiastic and adaptable. In the words of Arica Song, “We want to help as many people as possible and we are ready to handle any situation that may come up. Come stop in and see how we get homes sold!”
